AWAKE O SLEEPER!
I stole this from Matt's post, who stole this from the "Lovers of Truth" post.

"It is not the time for distraction, but the season for spiritual gains. Who will guarantee us that, sleeping, we will wake up? For this reason let us compel ourselves."

EXPELLED: Ben Stein's new documentary about why the theories of Darwinism and macro-evolution are taught as incontrovertible facts rather than theories—even with all of their flaws—and whether the theory of "intelligent design" is really an "intelligent" alternative.

Cusive - June 3rd - Mercury Lounge - New Set
Body: Hey All,

We just announced a show at the Mercury Lounge in NYC on June 3rd.

We will be about half-way through the recording of our new record so we hope to play the majority of it live before putting the finishing touches on it. We have been doing about 6-8 over the last few months and will probably shoot for 12+ for this show.

So, the goal is to have a fun, low-key show where we share our new tunes in their rawest form with anyone that wants to hear them. Some of the tunes we can play pretty damn well now but others will prove to be difficult and challenging, and who knows maybe technically embarrassing .

Please be warned the set will consist of 95% new material. If this sounds fun to you come on down and watch us sweat it out.

We will back on the road at a later date with sets full of tunes both new and old soon enough.

That movie looks awful. Ben stein really has no credibility and the fact that he is trying to say that evolution doesn't exist (which it's been proven that it does) is laughable. Sure no one knows exactly how we got here but saying "oh well god did it" with absolutely no supporting evidence doesn't answer it either. They use the word theory and people who support ID say "oh well this is a theory too!" No. Theory: "In science a theory is a testable model of the manner of interaction of a set of natural phenomena, capable of predicting future occurrences or observations of the same kind, and capable of being tested through experiment or otherwise verified through empirical observation. For the scientist, "theory" is not in any way an antonym of "fact". For example, it is a fact that an apple dropped on earth has been observed to fall towards the center of the planet, and the theories commonly used to describe and explain this behavior are Newton's theory of universal gravitation (see also gravitation), and the general theory of relativity." You can't test religious beliefs. It's a subjective outlook on reality and the point of science is objectivity. Those are my 4 cents.
